Percy at 13 for WP?
Vodacom Western Province coach Allister Coetzee will have done quite a bit of head-scratching about who to replace the injured centre Gcobani Bobo in the starting lineup for Saturday's clash against the Valke at Newlands.
Coetzee names his match 22 at the High Performance centre this afternoon and if rumours are to be believed, Percy Montgomery could run out at outside centre on his return to the blue and white hoops. That's ironically enough where he made his debut 12 years ago. Montgomery has recovered from the stomach bug which kept him out of action last weekend and will be included in the team. He won't play fullback because it's safe to say Conrad Jantjes has made the jersey his. So it only leaves the outside centre berth available.
But judging by how the team practiced this week, it's more likely that Coetzee will go for the big Fijian, Sireli Naquelevuki who's served his country in that position before.
There we! re a few niggles in the team this week from last weekend's bruising encounter against the Cheetahs but they should all be fit to play the Valke on Saturday.
